CLASS A POWER QUALITY ANALYZER
The UMG 512-PRO power quality analyzer (class A) measures all power quality parameters (e.g. OS up to 63rd, flicker, short interruptions, etc.) and also serves as a residual current monitoring device. In contrast to the UMG 511, it has a temperature input. The device is based on the current standards, e.g. EN 50160, IEEE519 or EN 61000-2-4. The UMG 512-PRO has two digital inputs and two digital outputs.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE UMG 512-PRO
CLASS A
Class A measuring devices are certified in accordance with the IEC 61000-4-30 standard. It provides detailed specifications that a network analyzer must meet so that the results can also be used in cases of dispute.
The standard defines the necessary parameters, suitable measurement methods, accuracy and bandwidths. This makes it easy to reproduce and compare results.
VOLTAGE QUALITY
Reliable operation of modern installations and systems always requires a high level of supply reliability and good power quality. UMG measurement devices reliably record, analyze and document all disturbance variables, such as harmonics, unbalances, transients, voltage dips, overvoltages, flicker, phase shift and reactive power.
BACNET
BACnet is one of the most important communication standards for building technology, primarily due to its compatibility with a wide variety of hardware and its standardized, manufacturer-independent communication.
As soon as a UMG measurement device has received its BACnet ID and is integrated into the network, it is recognized by the system and displayed in the browser. This makes configuration very easy.
MEASURING DEVICES-HOMEPAGE
The web server on the measuring device provides a wide range of data in a clearly structured form. The user does not need to install any software on his PC, a standard web browser is sufficient.
The user enters the IP address of the measuring device in the URL window of the browser and the homepage of the measuring device appears on the screen. In addition to the modern homepage, APPs are also available for an extended range of functions.
RESIDUAL CURRENT MONITORING (RCM)
A conductive RCM residual current monitor detects fault currents at an early stage, before they lead to system failures or even fires. It is already integrated in certain UMG measuring devices. The required RCM measuring current transformers can be retrofitted if required.
Continuous RCM monitoring significantly increases system safety and availability. In certain applications such as data centers, residual current monitoring is mandatory due to the requirements for high availability.
ETHERNET-MODBUS-GATEWAY
Modbus RTU devices that are connected to the master device as slaves can be very easily integrated into an Ethernet architecture via the Ethernet Modbus gateway. For devices with an identical file format and matching function codes, this is possible directly via the Modbus RTU interface.
APPS INCLUDED
MEASURED VALUE MONITOR
Graphically prepared displays on the device’s own homepage without additional software installation.
