DIFFERENTIAL CURRENT MONITORING DEVICES
JANITZA RESIDUAL CURRENT MONITORING
The RCM 201-ROGO enables continuous monitoring for residual currents in TN-S systems and complies with the DIN EN 62020/VDE 0663/IEC 62020 standard. This refers to residual current monitoring devices that check circuits for the occurrence of a residual current and trigger an alarm if a set limit value is exceeded.
The RCM 201-ROGO records residual currents according to type A and can be connected to the RCM inputs of Janitza network analyzers or read out directly via Modbus. The currents are recorded with Rogowski coils. The RCM 201-ROGO can be used wherever conventional residual current transformers cannot be installed mechanically, e.g. with large cross-sections, busbar systems or for retrofitting in existing systems where space is limited.
APPLICATIONS
MONITORING OF RESIDUAL CURRENTS TYPE A TO B+
The two-channel residual current monitoring device meets the requirements of the DIN EN 62020 standard. A recurring insulation test can be omitted or at least restricted. Typical places of use are the low-voltage main distribution board (LVMD) and the sub-distribution boards (SMD) in earthed systems (e.g. TN-S systems). The RCM 202-AB is a safe alternative across all industries if current interruptions due to a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) or an insulation resistance measurement cannot be tolerated. Full integration into the GridVis® software is possible. The device can be integrated directly via the RS485 interface.
PATENTED MEASURING METHOD
Can be used as an RCM at any point, e.g. DC systems, frequency converters, applications with increased fire protection requirements.
- Can be combined with any standard Janitza residual current transformer
- Residual currents from type A to type B+
- Measurement up to 20 kHz (type B+) possible
- Precise measurement on several levels
