The UMG 806 energy meter offers the right solution for different requirements. The powerful basic device is ideally suited for cost-oriented applications and is equipped with Modbus RTU. Among other things, it offers the option of measuring and recording residual currents. By continuously monitoring the residual current, dangerous fault currents can be detected at an early stage and system damage, including production downtime, can be avoided. Extensions to the UMG 806 are possible with three modules, the Ethernet communication module, the analog input module and the digital input module.

Another plus point is the compact design of the measuring device and modules. This makes optimum use of the already limited space in the control cabinet.
